After winning the toss and electing to bat, Christleton looked in control early on thanks to solid middle-order knocks from Thomas Scott (38) and George Crabtree (49 off 47). However, a steady collapse followed as Jigardan Gadhavi (5-36) ripped through the middle and lower order with a superb spell of spin bowling. Sam Farrell (2-18) offered great control, while Ryan Skiffington and Thomas Webb also picked up a wicket each.
